Who We Serve
We help all who are in need, with a particular focus on marginalized communities in New York City and the greater area. We want to improve outcomes for people who are historically underserved or disenfranchised, such as:
No matter who you are or what you have been through, you deserve compassion and support.
What Makes Us Different
Hearts Unbound bridges the gap between humanitarian relief and accessible healthcare. We address the interconnected challenges of poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, and health inequity. We meet immediate needs while creating pathways toward long term stability and well being, through community centered outreach, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.
Where We Are Today
Hearts Unbound is an emerging, medical doctor founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are building a foundation of transparency, accountability, and measurable community impact, one step at a time. Our early work has included naloxone (Narcan) distribution to support overdose prevention. We are now developing additional initiatives addressing food insecurity, clothing insecurity, healthcare access, and harm reduction, particularly in underserved NYC communities.
Our Commitment to You
As our programs grow, we plan to publicly track meaningful outcomes: individuals served, food and essential supplies distributed, naloxone kits provided, healthcare encounters, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships. We want to be honest about where we are today while being clear about where we are going. Transparency and accountability are at the heart of everything we do.
